Depth that flat blue cannot produce
A flat blue panel reads as a single block of colour. The ripple breaks it into varying depths of blue — lighter where the surface catches light, deeper in the troughs — so the panel behaves more like water than like painted metal. On a ceiling this is the difference between a coloured surface and a surface with movement in it.
Works where warm metals do not
Blue sits naturally with glass, concrete, pale timber and white stone — the palette of most contemporary commercial architecture. Gold pulls a scheme towards hospitality; blue does not, which makes it easier to use in offices, transport and cultural buildings.
Cool without being cold
Mirror silver is bright but neutral, and in large areas it can read as clinical. Blue is a cool tone that still carries colour, so it holds the calm of a metallic surface without the hardness. This is why it works in offices, healthcare, transport hubs and pool environments where silver would feel severe.
The colour is not paint
Blue is applied by PVD in a vacuum chamber, bonded to the steel at a molecular level. It is not paint, not powder coating, and not a laminate film — so there is nothing to chip, peel or fade. On a colour this distinctive that matters more than usual: a blue that shifts tone over time is far more visible than a silver that does.

What is the minimum order quantity?
The MOQ is 10 pieces in standard sizes: 1219*2438mm, 1219*3048mm, or 1500*3000mm. A higher MOQ applies for custom-made dimensions.
Can I get free samples?
Yes, we offer free stock samples of our mirror silver water ripple sheet. However, we kindly ask you to cover the shipping cost. For custom-fabricated samples, a small processing fee may apply. Feel free to contact us to arrange sample delivery based on your project needs.
Can the sheets be folded or fabricated?
Water ripple sheets can be bent or fabricated, but due to the uneven surface, careful edge folding and corner processing are required. We can provide grooving and bending service upon request.
Is the blue colour painted or anodised?
Neither. It is applied by PVD — physical vapour deposition — in a vacuum chamber, which bonds a metallic layer to the steel at a molecular level. Anodising is an aluminium process and does not apply to stainless steel. There is no pigment, no lacquer and no film involved.
Does mirror blue show fingerprints?
Yes — like any mirror surface, it will. We recommend anti-fingerprint coating as standard on anything below 2 m: wall panels, column covers, lift interiors. The ripple surface itself also disguises marks far better than flat mirror, and the protective film should stay on until installation is completely finished.
Can I get blue in other finishes to match?
Yes. The same PVD blue can be applied to our mirror, hairline and satin sheets, so a ceiling in ripple can be matched with lift doors in hairline or trims in mirror. Tell us the full scope at quotation stage and we will run the matching pieces together.
Is it fire-resistant?
Yes. Stainless steel is a non-combustible material, making our mirror water ripple sheets naturally fire-resistant. It complies with most building safety codes.
Is there a protective film on the surface?
Yes. All mirror silver ripple sheets come with a PVC or laser protective film to avoid scratches during transport and installation.
What is the lead time for bulk orders?
Normally, production takes around 5–10 days, plus 10–60 days for ocean shipping depending on your location. We recommend scheduling early for large projects.
What is the installation method for ceilings or walls?
